Even so, the lighting designer will consider unacceptable color as a product fault.
IES LM – 84 standard defines the light bulbs and lamps and lanterns of level of luminous flux and color retention test method. In addition, the TM – 28 will govern how the LM – 84 test data to reflect the lamp life, and IES may later in life reflect method of lamps and lanterns is also added to the TM – 28.
Prospectus didn’t mention is the use of mixed colored leds, or remote phosphor product life and reliability of the how to reflect. Existing standards such as LM – 80 type defines the fluorescence transformation of white LED test method, but the other system structure is some application domain gradually popular.
