LEDinside who belongs to the TrendForce, Global market research institutions, published the “2013 China lighting market report”, pointed out that in 2012 the Chinese government issued a series of policy measures to stimulate domestic demand LED lighting, made the LED general lighting market launched in China. It is estimated in 2015, LED general lighting demand in China will be up to $10 billion. Along with the sustained economic growth and the LED penetration, LED general lighting demand in China will be 22 billion dollars in 2015.
2012 China spent 2.2 billion RMB supporting promotion of energy-saving lamps and LED lights. And on OCT 1,2012, the incandescent bulbs, including the 100W and some halogen light under some energy-efficiency standard was formally banned to be sold. The huge replacement demand for that will hugely push CFL and LED lighting spreading in china market.
