LED is regarded as the most promising artificial light in 21st century in the field of agriculture and has a fine development prospect and foreground.
LED can send out monochromatic light needed by plants. After the combination of red and blue light, it can also form the spectrum basically coinciding photosynthesis and pattern shaping. Moreover, light efficiency may reach 80%-90%, thus with an outstanding energy-saving result. On many occasions like greenhouse, plant tissue culture, plant factory and edible mushroom production, traditional light can be substituted by LED light.
