There are 3 kinds of glasses(lens) of LED Candle bulb & LED Globe bulb from No.1 lighting technology ltd :Clear(transparent), Frosted(matt), and Milky glass.

As you can see in the picture, for clear bulb, you can see the inside very clearly and the light also can get out nearly 100%, no light loss.
For the frosted bulb, you can see the inside part very unclearly. The middle part of the glass is bright and other part is dark.Its light loss also very big, around 20%.
For the Milky bulb, there is nothing inside can be seen and the whole part of the glass is bright. Its light loss is also very big, over 30%.
The difference between frosted and Milky is, you can see part inside of the frosted bulbs, but you can see nothing inside the milky bulbs.
No.1 lighting’s LED Candle bulb is 360degree lighting and designed to replace the traditional incandescent, so when it is used on the chandeliers, it is very like the incandescent lighting.
Based on this situation, clear glass has the most applications for the Candle light and Globe bulb.
However, the clear bulb emitted sharp light which is not suitable in places where the soft light is needed. So the frosted bulb is used there.
For the milky bulb, there are few application.
