2.LED driver
Unlike normal incandescent bulb which can be directly connected to the 110V or 220V, LED light must work in a stable and suitable electrial envioroment.
So it needs a driver.LED driver is also called power supply. Its function is to turn the 220VAC into lower volt and DC.
Normally LED driver is including Non-isolation and Isolation types, they have differerent advantages. Non-isolation driver has lower cost and lower, but when you touch the LED part, you may get an electric shock; The isolation driver is safer and when you touch any part of the LED lamp, you would not be shocked, however its cost is higher and the heat is more.
LED driver is the most important part of the LED light. As we all know, LED chip will seldom die if you produce and use it normally, so the life of LED light is decide by the LED power supply. When using a bad driver, the lamp would have a very short life.
3. Shell(heat-dissipation part):
The shell is also very important for a LED light. As we all know, LED makes much heat when working and if the heat can not be lead out quickly, it will harm the LED and LED driver, shorten its lifespan.
A good design of heat system is very important to help the heat out, also the materials of shell is very important. Currently main material of shell is alluminum and ceramic.
Ceramic has higher heat conductivity coefficient but higher cost, and aluminum has more applications on LED lighting.
No.1 lighting has different product of different heat-dissipation. For LED Candle bulb, we use aluminum as the shell, for LED ceramic bulb, we use ceramic as the heat-dissipation part.
